PROSPECTUS FOR ADMISSION INTO MBBS AND BDS COURSES UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS IN PRIVATE UN–AIDED NON–MINORITY, MINORITY MEDICAL / DENTAL COLLEGES AND ARMY DENTAL COLLEGE IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-18
A. Regulations:
i)The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management Quota (Category -B and Category -C(NRI) ) MBBS/BDS Courses in Private Un–Aided Non– Minority, Minority Medical / Dental Colleges and Army Dental College in the state of Telangana for the year 2017-18.
ii)The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG - 2017 exam by securing marks of cut off score and above.
iii)NEET UG - 2017 merit ranks shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.
iv)Total number of seats under Management quota expected for the academic year 2017-18 for Medical / Dental Courses in Private Medical /Dental Colleges and Army Dental College is given in the A
nnexure-I. Fee structure is as fixed by the State Government.
v) In case any new MBBS/BDS seats are permitted by MCI/DCI in private Medical and Dental colleges affiliated to the University for t he Academic Year 2017-18, those seats also will be filled up
NO FURTHER NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.
vi)Seats in Army Dental College are reserved for Army wards as per AWES Regulations.
vii)Seats in Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim Minority Candidates only. In case Muslim Minority Candidates are not available the seats may be filled up with Non-Minority students up to maximum of 30% during 2nd Phase of counseling.
B. Eligibility:
i. Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Managementquota seats( Category -B and C) for UG Medical and Dental Courses and as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council
of India / KNR University of Health Sciences.
ii) The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.
OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
OC PH candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
3 BDS courses and they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India guidelines.
iii) Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG - 2017
iv) The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in NEET UG-2017 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2017-18.

v)Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these categories.
viii) Foreign Students / NRI candidates are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under Management Quota Category – C Seats.
ix)*Candidates who have already applied for Convenor Quota Seats in response to this University earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats, but they have to apply afresh.
x)Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Telangana State should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of
Telangana, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of
admission into the college.
xi)Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi
and Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate
examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of admission into the college.
xii)The probable number of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure appended herewith, for information.
C. AGE: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2017. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2017 need not attend the counseling. The candidates born on or
after 02-01-2001 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses.
D. NRI Quota eligibility :
i) Admission to NRI seats will be made on the basis of NEET- 2017 merit ranks of NRI eligible candidates who have applied on-line.
ii) NRI Financially supporting the candidate must be a Blood relative such as Father/Mother/Brother/Sister/Uncle/Aunt only.
iii) Candidate opting for NRI seat must furnish the photocopies of following supporting documents.
1 NRI status certificate of the financial supporter issued by embassy of respective country under their seal.
2) Copy of NRI Bank account pass book of the financial supporter.
3) Copy of Pass port of financial supporter.
Note: a) If, enough number of NRI candidates are not available, the left over seats of NRI Category may be filled-up with other candidates during the second phase of counseling.
b) If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already
admitted, the admission will becancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University.
E. Counselling for allotment of Seats:
1. The seats shall be filled through counseling by the Committee for Admissions as per merit from the candidates who have qualified in NEET UG– 2017 exam and applied in response to notification by
KNR UHS for Management quota seats ( B&C Categories).
ii.The Date, Time and Venue of Counselling will be notified by the Committee for Admissions on KNR UHS web-site.
iii.The candidates shall be present when called in the order of rank/merit.
iv.If a candidate fails to be present he will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit will be considered.
v.The candidates shall attend the counseling in person along with parent/guardian.
vi.The candidates shall attend with all Original Certificates, Tuition fee and University Fee. Custodian certificate will not be permitted.
vii.Candidates who fail to produce or to submit original certificates or university fee will not be considered for counseling. Such Candidates will be declared absent and the next candidate
in the merit will be considered.
viii.If a candidate after admission in to a College wants to withdraw from the course, before commencement of second counseling he / she should obtain "No Objection Certificate from the Principal of the college concerned and shall submit the same to the convener, committee of admissions for cancellation of seat.Approval of committee is mandatory for candidate to withdraw from the course.
ix.Vacant seats after first round of counseling will be filled up in subsequent rounds of counseling. The
Date, Time and Venue of Counseling will be notified by the Committee for Admissions on KNR UHS web-site.
x. Candidates are hereby informed that they have to join the course by submission of all Original Certificates to the Principal.

A. Regulations:

iii)NEET UG - 2017 merit ranks shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.
iv)Total number of seats under Management quota expected for the academic year 2017-18 for Medical / Dental Courses in Private Medical /Dental Colleges and Army Dental College is given in the A
