NEET (UG) 2017 RESULT
As  per  regulations  framed  under  the  Indian  Medical  Council  Act-1956  as  amended  in 2016  and  the  Dentists  Act-1948  as  amended  in  2016, Central  Board  of  Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) –2017  [NEET(UG)-2017]
for  admission  to  MBBS/BDS  Courses  in  India  in  Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

An All India merit list has been prepared in percentile determined on the basis of highest marks secured by the candidates in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to  MBBS/BDS    courses  as  per  Para  V(II),  Chapter  II  of  Graduate  Medical  Education

Regulations issued under Medical Council of India Act & Dental Council of India Act.
1.FOLLOWING WERE ALLOWED TO APPEAR IN NEET-UG, 2017:

Non Resident Indians (NRIs)
Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs)
Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) &Foreign Nationals
Because of above, NEET has become the first Global Entrance Examination in the country.

As  per  the  information  available  on  MCI  &  DCI websites,  in  470  medical  colleges,  there are approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS and in 308 Dental colleges, nearly 25,730 seats in BDS are available.

CBSE has provided All India Rank to the candidates. Admitting Authorities will draw merit list based on All India Rank for the seats of MBBS/BDS falling under their jurisdiction. 

Information regarding 15% All India Quota Seats:-
The  Directorate  General of  Health  Services(DGHS),  Government  of  India  will  conduct the Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats as done earlier. 
Candidates may visitwebsite www.mcc.nic.in for further information regarding cut off marks, etc.
Candidates will apply for 15%  All  India  Quota seats as  per  the  directions  of  DGHS and  Counselling  will  be  stopped soon the seats are exhausted.

Information regarding State Quota Seats:-
For State quota and other seats falling under the ambit of States, candidates may apply to their domicile states and a merit list as per State rules and based on All India Rank will be
prepared   by   concerned   Counselling   Authorities.

The   counselling  for   Private   Medical Colleges will also be conducted by the concerned State Counselling Authority.
CBSE  made  elaborate  arrangement  for  the  smooth  and  fair  conduct  of  examination across the nation.  Candidates and their parents are also informed to assist CBSE in the fair conduct  of  examination.
In  NEET-2017,

11-candidates  were  identified  using  unfair  practices in  the  examination. The  result  of  these  candidates  has  been  cancelled  or  they  have  been debarred  from  appearing  in  the  Medical  Entrance  Examination  conducted  by  CBSEas  per rule. Before  declaration  of  result,  CBSE  has  hosted  the  OMR  Answer  Sheets  of  all  the candidates  on  website  for  their  information  and to make  challenges  if  they  found  any discrepancy in the responses made by them.  Also, the answer keys were hosted on website for challenges.  All the challenges received by CBSE were duly addressed before preparation
of result.  The  candidates  can  access  their  result  on www.cbseneet.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE will also provide NEET rank letters format through DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in/. NEET-2017 result will also be available on “Digilocker” website at http://results.digilocker.gov.in,  a  CBSE  initiative  in  collaboration  with  DigiLocker.  This  is  a mobile friendly website and can be viewed on mobile. 

The  Result  of  NEET-UG,  2017 has  been  declared  on  the  basis  of  the  qualifying  criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India and also based on the
information submitted by the candidates in their online application forms. The  qualified  candidates  may  please  note  that  they  have to  further  complete  the formalities   with   the   respective   Counselling   Authorities   viz   DGHS,   Medical   Education Directorates of States, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses. The details and schedule of counselling
would be available on the websites of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Directorates of States. The details of Medical Education Directorate of States are given in Appendix-IV of the Information Bulletin available on  NEET  website.
The  counselling  would  be  conducted  by  the  respective  Counselling Authorities  subject  to  prevailing  rules  and  norms  for  admission  in  Medical  Colleges/Dental
Colleges  under  their  ambit.    Candidates  are  advised  to  be  in  touch  with  the  respective Counselling Authorities and Institutions concerned for further details.

Consequent upon the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in SLP nos. 16307/2017 &16311/2017dated  12.06.2017,  the  Central  Board  of  Secondary Education shall complete the following remaining steps for preparation and declaration of result:-

1.DISPLAY OF IMAGES OF OMR  AND RESPONSES TO THE QUESTIONS:

The  images  of  OMR  Answer  Sheets  and  Responses  to  the  questions marked  by  the candidates who had appeared in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017
will be displayed for challenges by the candidates, only for two days instead of three days as mentioned in Information Bulletin. 

The schedule of display of OMR Answer Sheets and Responses will be as follows:-

  1. ACTIVITY ;- Display of OMR Sheets & Responses of the Questions
  2. DATE OF DISPLAY ;= 13/06/2017 onwards
  3. PERIOD  FOR CHALLENGE;-13/06/2017 (Tuesday) to 14/06/2017(Wednesday till 05.00 p.m.).

DISPLAY OF NEET ANSWER KEYS;-

The Answer  keys  of  NEET-UG  2017 will  also  be  displayed  for  challenges by  the  candidates only for two days instead of three days as mentioned in Information Bulletin.
The schedule of display of keys will be as follows:
  1. ACTIVITY;- Display of Answer Keys
  2. DATES OF DISPLAY& CHALLENGE ;- 15/06/2017 (Thursday) to 16/06/2017(Friday till 05.00 p.m.).

METHOD OF NEET 2017 CHALLENGE:

The candidates can check the scanned Images of their OMR Sheet & Answer Keys by logging into  their  account  using  their user  ID  (Registration  No.)  and  Password on  NEET  website.  
The candidates  willing  to  challenge  the responses  of  their OMR sheet and answers  prepared  by  CBSE may  do  so  by  paying  a  fee  of  Rs  1000/-(Rupees  One  Thousand  Only)
per  response/per  question challenged as  explained  in the Information  Bulletin -2017  available  on  NEET  website.  Only  online challenges  within the  stipulated period  and  with  applicable  fee  w
ill  be  considered.
Fee  paid  will  be refunded to the candidate if his/her challenge is accepted by the CBSE.

4.CANDIDATES MAY PLEASE NOTE:
It  has  been observed by  CBSE that  candidates make  changes/alterations  in the downloaded copies of the OMR Sheets and claim that their OMR Sheet s have been tampered with by CBSE.
This act of false claim by candidates is covered under unfair practices in Rule 9.1(k)&
(l)of Chapter 9 of Information  Bulletin.   If  it  is  found  that  any  candidate  is  making  such  false  claims, he/she will  be debarred from appearing in future NEET UG Examinations as per rules.
The candidates and parents are advised to check and download the copies of OMR Sheets themselves. 

The  decision  of  the  CBSE  in  the  matter of challenges  to  the  responses  marked  by  the candidates & Answer Key shal l be final.

CBSE NEET - UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the most important entrance exam in India for admission in to MBBS / BDS courses in MCI recognized Medical Colleges/Dental Council recognized Colleges. NEET will fill 15% of their MBBS & BDS seats through the centralized all India counselling and 85% of seats through state counselling.

Students of Jammu & Kashmir. Andhra Pradesh. and Telangana can appear for the NEET exam only for the admission to the Armed Forces Medical College. Pune.   • The age limit for the NEET exam has been done away with on March 31.2017. It that students above 25 years of age can also register for the medical entrance exam from tis year.
  • The ruling was based on the recommenation of the Medical Council of India - MCI, which is looking forward to the bridge the acute shortage of doctors in India.
  • The apex court will give final decision on the age limits in the NEET exam later.
  • Earlier the CBSE had decland that medical aspirants can appear for the NEET exam for a Maximum of three times. However, later they clarified that NEET attempts before 2017 will this case. NEET 2017 will be considered the first attempt for all medical aspirants appraring for the exam this year.

ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR U.G, PG & Ph.D. ADMISSIONS-2017

NOTICE

The  Indian  Council  of  Agricultural  Research (ICAR)  invites  online  applications  from Indian Nationals, in the prescribed format, for  22nd AIEEA-UG-2017

and AIEEA-PG-2017 to fill 15% seats for Bachelor degrees (100% for NDRI Karnal, RLB CAU, Jhansi, and Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar) and 25% seats for Master degrees (100% seats for ICAR
Deemed-to-be-Universities,  viz.,  IARI,  IVRI,  NDRI  and  CIFE  +  Dr.  RPCAU,  Pusa Bihar)  for  Master  degrees in  universities  under  ICAR-AU  system  including Central Agricultural University Imphal; Central  Universities  with  Agricultural faculty (B.H.U., Viswa  Bharati,  Nagaland  University,  A.M.U.  for  the  academic  session  2017-18.

The admissions will be done in the accredited programmes of accredited colleges under the accredited   Agricultural   Universities   only.
AIEEA-UG-2017   does   not   include admission   to   Bachelor   degree   programme   in Veterinary   Sciences.   All   India Competitive  Examination  for  centralized  admission  to  25%  seats  for  Ph.D.  degree programmes in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences will also be conducted along with AIEEA-PG-2017 in AUs and 100% seats of Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar (other than IARI,  IVRI,  NDRI  &  CIFE)  and  the  award  of  Junior/Senior  Research  Fellowship (JRF/SRF-PGS).

The applications will be  submitted through ONLINE  mode only.

The instructions for online Application have been given in the respective Information Bulletins. For submitting    application,    the    prescribed    fee    should    be    deposited    through
Credit/Debit card/Net banking using Payment Gateway of the Canara Bank only.

1. Dates of Examination:

UG: Saturday, the 10th.June, 2017 (10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)
PG: Sunday, the 11th June 2017     (10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)
AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS): Sunday, the 11th June, 2017(10: 00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M.)
2. Commencement of online applications:
UG, PGand AICE-SRF-PGS(Online only): 20th.April, 2017

Last date for filing of online application: 4th.May, 2017 (11:59 PM)


3. Eligibility:
3.1. Age: For AIEEA-UG-2017: 
     Not less than 16 years as on 31st August, 2017. (For UG admission)
For AIEEA-PG-2017:  Not less than 19 years as on 31stAugust 2017.
(For PG Admission)For AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS)-2017:
(For Ph.D. Admission)Not less than 20 years as on the date of examination, i.e. 11.06.2017.

3.2. Qualifying Examination:
 
3.2.1. For AIEEA-UG 2017: (Other than Veterinary Sciences)
Must have obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 examination or equivalent  with  PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCF  subject  combinations/Inter  Agriculture for  admission  under  General,  UPS  (Under  Privileged  State)  and  OBC  (Non-creamy layer) categories or  40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and  PC  categories.  However,  candidates  with  PCF  combination  are  eligible  for admission to B.Sc. (Horti.) only. For details, refer Information Bulletin (AIEEA-UG-2017) on ICAR website: www.icar.org.in

3.2.2. For AIEEA-PG-2017:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science (renamed as Community Science), Sericulture, Dairy Technology,   Forestry,    Agri.   Marketing   and   Cooperation,   Food   Science, Biotechnology,  etc., under 10+2+4  or  10+2+5  (B.V.Sc.  &A.H.)  or  10+6  (B.Sc. Ag.)  years  degree  programmes  (Few  seats  are  available  for  candidates  having Bachelor  degree  with  10+2+3  (basic  sciences)  at  two  ICAR-DUs  i.e.  IARI  & NDRI only), with required OGPA of at least 6.60/10, 3.25/5, 2.60/4 for General, OBC  (NCL)  and  UPS  categories  whereas  for  SC/ST/PC  categories,  the  said requirement is 5.60/10, 2.75/5, 2.20/4, respectively. In other cases,  where  grade-points  are  not  awarded  and  only  marks  are  awarded,  the  candidate  must  have secured  at  least  60%  marks  for  General,  OBC  (NCL)  and  UPS  categories; whereas  for  SC/ST/PC,  the  requirement  is  50%  marks  (equivalence  between
OGPA  and  %  marks  will  not  be  acceptable).  The  in service  candidates  seeking admission in ICAR-DUs, should see the respective DU’s website.

3.2.3. For AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS)-2017:
The candidates must have passed Master’s Degree programme in  the concerned discipline securing  Overall  Grade  Point  Average  of  at  least  6.50/10.00  scale, 3.25/5.00  scale,  2.60/4.00  scale  for  General,  OBC (NCL)and  UPS  Categories and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 scale for SC/ST/PC categories, respectively. In other cases, where grade-points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the  candidate  must  have  secured  at  least  60%  marks  for  General,  OBC (NCL) and UPS Category. For SC/ST/PC  candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will  be  50%. The  equivalence  between  OGPA  and  percent  marks will  not  be acceptable.  Candidates  must  complete  the  post-graduate  degree  in  all  respects and produce the degree-completion certificate from the Registrar to this effect on the  date  of  counseling,  failing  which  they  will  not  be  considered  for  admission and the  award  of  fellowship.  The  fellowship  would  be  granted  only  when  the candidate  seeks  admission  through  counseling  conducted  by  ICAR  and  pursues Ph.D. degree in an accredited Agricultural University (AU) except an ICAR-DU where  100%  seats  will  be  filled up  through  its  own  separate  national  level entrance  examination.  The  candidate  must  pursue  Ph.D.  degree  in  an  AU  other than the one from where he/she has obtained Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The candidates  who have  already  joined Ph.D. should not have  completed two  years as  on  the  date  of  examination  for  availing  fellowship.  The  candidates  having
10+2+3 years  UG  degree  are  not  eligible  for  admissions  in  AUs  through  this examination. The above conditions will also apply to in-service candidates.

4. Online Application fee:
AIEEA-UG-2017:  Rs. 500/-for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS categories and Rs. 250/-for SC, ST and PC categories.
AIEEA-PG-2017:  Rs.600/-for  General,  OBC  (NCL)  and  UPS  categories  and Rs.300/-for SC, ST and PC categories.
AICE-JRF/SRF(PGS)-2017   : Rs.1200/-for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS categories and Rs.600/-for SC, ST and PC categories.
In addition, Bank charges + service tax, as applicable, shall also be charged. To get the details,    please    see    the    respective    Information    Bulletins    on ICAR    website www.icar.org.in.


The last date for the receipt of hard copy of computer generated confirmation pages  of  online  application  in  the  office  of “Controller  of Examinations  (Agril. Education),  Room  No.  216,  ICAR,  Krishi  Anusandhan  Bhavan-II,  Pusa,  New Delhi–110012"


for  UG,  PG  and  AICE-JRF/SRF  (PGS)  examinations  is 15-05-2017.
Applications received after the last date may be rejected and the ICAR will not be held responsible for non-receipt of application within the time schedule due to postal delay or
any  other  reasons. It  is  the  sole  responsibility  of  the  candidate  to  check  his/her eligibility  for  admission  before  applying.    ICAR  will  not  be  held  responsible  for refusing admission to any non-eligible  candidate  at the time  of online counseling / admission in the allotted university.

The online counseling is expected to be held after 1st week of July, 2017.
All  disputes  relating  to  the  conduct  of  these examinations  or any   matter connected with this advertisement shall be in the jurisdiction of DELHI COURT only.
