MBBS in KMC Manipal Medical College::

The MBBS course is being offered in KMC Manipal and KMC Mangalore. Its duration is four and a half years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship course.
This course is recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Malaysian Medical Council.
The course conducts theory classes and clinical training according to MCI guidelines.

Eligibility:- Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Duration : 4 ½ years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

Citizenship:- General Category : Indian Nationals, Foreign nationals having OCI/PIO cards.

Date of Birth : Should fall on or before 31.12.2001

Qualification : Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

MBBS ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• The information regarding the Admissions process will be uploaded in our website as and when received from the concerned statutory authorities.
• General Category: Admissions will be done on the basis of the valid rank obtained in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 and through centralised common counseling conducted by DGHS.
• Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions will be done on the basis of the valid rank obtained in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 and through centralised common counseling conducted by DGHS.

Note:
Candidate with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India.  This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of admissions.  Students who are qualified with CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board qualifications need not submit the equivalence certificate.  For details please visit our website www.manipal.edu

SBI SCHOLAR LOAN;- The State Bank of India offers student loans to deserving/meritorious students of premier and reputed institutions recognized by the bank.  At present, this facility is available to candidates  admitted to the following institutes:

Fees are subject to change without notice. The fees at the time of admission is the actual fees payable. Disputes, if any, will be redressed under the University rules and regulations.
In addition to the above fees candidates have to pay refundable caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/-(Indian) USD 200 (International) along with the first installment fees.
