REGARDING COUNSELLING FOR PRIVATE MEDICAL/DENTAL COLLEGES
and 85% STATE QUOTA Seats .15% All India Quota Counselling is being conducted by MCC(Medical counselling Committee) in compliance of Hon Supreme court directions vide order dated 07.06.2012 in I.A. No. 35/2012 in Writ Petition (Civil) No 443 of 1992 in the matter of Sharwan Kumar case. As per the directions of H onourable Supreme court in this matter MCC does counselling for only the 15 % AI Quota seats in Govt medical colleges of the country except Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Jammu Kashmir .For rest 85% State Seats and Private Medical and dental seats, Candidates are requested to contact Respective State DME(Director Medical Education) of the State.
Asper the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on 24.05.2016, NEET 2016. NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST-II (UG), 2016 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.The AIPMT-2016/NEET- I was conducted on 1 st May, 2016. NEET-II will be conducted on Sunday, the 24 th July, 2016. The judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Ordinances is uploaded on NEET website.The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Counseling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.
